Custom sublimated sportswear allow you to print a full-color design on lightweight wicking material without adding any additional weight or thickness. The ink used during sublimation is absorbed by the fabric and becomes permanent nearly instantly. This allows wicking sportswear to move moisture away from your body and through the shirt.
Dye sublimation is the printing method that maximizes dry performance fabric's 'wicking' properties. However only light colored moisture wicking shirts or jerseys can be sublimated and we can not print white inks. For maximum fabric breathability we recommend that you choose a light colored warmup.
For dark colored shirts and jerseys, we digitally cad print and heat apply an opaque film that prevents the dark shirt color from bleeding through the graphic. For maximum breathability choose a light colored shirt.

A big trend today is dry performance or custom wicking sportswear. Custom sublimated sportswear are mostly made of polyester yarns and are engineered to wick moisture away from the skin and transport it to the outside of the fabric. These products keep you cool and dry. We offer both compression and loose, relaxed dry performance wear.
Traditional screen printing or cad printing covers fabric with ink or film, making it difficult for air or moisture to pass through. Custom sublimated warmup printing maintains a fabric's 'wicking' characteristics.
When the custom sublimated warmup dye is placed next to polyester and heated the polyester molecules open. The sublimation dye turns into a gas and then penetrates the fibers of the fabric when heated. After the heat is removed, the polyester molecules will close and permanently trap the sublimation dyes. The image gets indelibly transferred to the polyester garment. When the fabric cools, the fibers close, and permanently retains the brilliant color of the sublimation dye.
Designs on custom dye sublimated sportswear are permanent because it becomes part of the sportswear' fabric. It makes a light weight, breathable warmup look great without adding any additional weight or changing the feel of your custom apparel. We GUARANTEE that it will never crack or peel.
