Ready-to-Apply graphics and lettering can be applied to a variety
of surfaces and is longer lasting than painted signs and graphics.
Vinyl is cut, weeded, and shipped to you pre-masked and ready for
application. Great for boat lettering, registration numbers, decal cut
outs, etc.
Vinyl is a long-lasting material available in the colors indicated plus other colors can
be special ordered. Vinyl graphics and lettering give you the best of both worlds --
low cost and high quality. They can be applied to a variety of surfaces and offer
flexibility while serving a wide range of uses. It is more accurate and longer lasting
than painted signs.
Measuring is not difficult. When we refer to overall area, this refers to the imaginary
rectangular area that surrounds the particular group of letters you are measuring
for. To order, you need to give us your height times width to get square inches.
For example, to simply letter a 18" X 24" area, the square inches calculate
to 432 sq. inches. You would order the "Up To 500 sq. inches" and specify
the dimensions you need in the comment field.
General Vinyl Application Instructions
A handy person can install moderately sized vinyl decals. When installing decals larger
than truck door - sized, it is suggested that an adequately experienced person do
the installation.
The surface must be hard, flat, and non-porus. The surface temperature must be
between 60°F and 90°F and kept absolutely dry until installed. If the
surface is at all dirty, wash with soap and water, rinse with water until the is no more
soap or soap residue. Make sure the surface is absolutely dry before proceeding to
the next step. Once the surface is clean, installation may begin.

Simple vs. Complex Designs
Our simplified vinyl lettering and boat lettering pricing system breaks down lettering
pricing between simple and complex designs. Simple designs are generally basic lettering
and one-color signs while complex designs include a logo or graphics and can be up to
3-colors. Choose the simple or complex option appropriate to your vinyl lettering and
boat lettering graphics needs and then proceed to checkout.
For vinyl-cut graphics, artwork will be made into vectors (i.e. outlines, curves). We
prefer artwork in this format. These files are often are created in CorelDRAW or Adobe
Illustrator and have file extensions such as .eps, .ai, and .cdr.
