Q. What is the difference between Brown Duck and Sandstone?

• Brown Duck is a tightly woven canvas fabric made of 100% ring-spun cotton. Sandstone is the very same fabric that has been treated using a process called micro-sanding that results in a much softer hand or almost a brushed look to the fabric.

Q. What is the difference in the linings?

• Artic Quilt - Nylon taffeta quilted to a layer of high loft polyester batting... ensures maximum warmth when it is to cold for anything else.
• Quilt Flannel - 100% brushed polyester tricot quilted to polyester batting provides softness and warmth without layering.
• Blanket - Non-Bulky acrylic/polyester blended to provide a layer of warmth on those cold mornings.
• Thermal - 100% polyester raschel knit adds an extra layer of comfort and warmth in cool weather.

Duck Detroit Jacket/Blanket Lined

Here's a classic 12-ounce, top quality 100% cotton duck jacket, the Detroit Jacket. It features a blanket lining in the body and quilted nylon lining in the sleeves. There's a contrasting corduroy top collar with under collar snaps to attach an optional hood. Inside there's a welt pocket and outside there are two large front pockets and a zippered left chest pocket. Both waist and cuffs are snap adjustable. And a bi-swing back makes for easier movement.

Made of 12-ounce, 100%-cotton Sandstone Duck. Micro-sanded and garment washed. 100%-polyester quilted flannel lining in body. Quilted nylon lining in sleeves. Attached hood with adjustable drawcord. Sandstone Traditional Jacket - Arctic Quilt Lined

This is one of our warmest jackets. Made of 12-ounce, 100%-cotton Sandstone Duck. Micro-sanded and garment washed. 100%-polyester thermal lining for warmth.

There are two convenient inside pockets and two deep hand-warmer-style side pockets. Rib knit cuffs also work keep you warm. And a split-back with bi-swing and pleated elbows allows for easier movement on-the-job.

Warm and rugged 12-ounce, top cotton duck jacket. Choose either quilted flannel lined or water-repellent (re-treated after washing) thermal lined. The sleeves are lined with quilted nylon as is a three-piece attached hood and the two outside pockets. Two inside pockets are also featured. And like everything Carhartt makes, this Active Jac has been fabric tested and job-tested to insure that it's warm and that it's tough.

Extremes® Active Jacket / Arctic Quilt Lined (The Rolls Royce of Carhartt Line)

When your work takes you into the extreme cold, here's the jacket to wear. Constructed of warm, 1000-denier Cordura® nylon, water repellent, and lined with a quilted arctic-weight polyester insulation including the three piece hood. Rib-knit cuffs and waist are great at keeping the cold out. Other features include two inside pockets, two deep hand-warmer-style pockets outside, and a handy hanger loop. Main seams are triple stitched and everything's been fabric-tested to insure wear-resistance and warmth.

This heavyweight 12-ounce 100% top quality cotton duck vest features our warmest arctic-weight quilted nylon polyester lining. To add to the warmth there's a snug fitting rib-knit collar and, in back, a drop tail. Other features include a front zipper with wind flap, a convenient inside patch pocket with hook-and-loop closure, and large front hand-warmer-style pockets. The Duck Vest provides both warmth and arm-free ease of movement.

Here's the classic sweatshirt in a warm thermal version. A 12-ounce 50% cotton/50% polyester fleece blend with a 100% polyester thermal lining. Features side-seam pockets that are also lined. Cuffs and waistband are a spandex- reinforced rib knit that's designed to keep cold out and warm in. A handy locker loop is provided for hanging. The front neck is a crew style with a classic sweat V-patch.
